JACKSONVILLE, FLA (June 9, 2016)—Brightway Insurance, the Jacksonville-based national property/casualty insurance retailer selling through a network of franchised independent agencies throughout the country, has been named the largest independent insurance agency in northeast Florida five years running in by the Jacksonville Business Journal. The ranking is based on the number of employees in the area.

 

The company has been named to the list of largest agencies in northeast Florida every year since 2008, the year the company started franchising operations.

 

Brightway has 27 agencies in the region and 117 in 11 states throughout the U.S. The agencies’ back-office operations are supported by more than 220 employees at the company’s Home Office on University Blvd. West.

 

The number of franchised locations has doubled in the past four years and, to support the company’s growth, the number of Home Office employees has nearly doubled in the same period.
