Our story…
It started with a simple idea! Our company founders, Dale Wishewan and Jon Amack, were eager to create a foodservice concept that would capitalize on the rapidly increasing consumption of fresh juices and 'smoothies' and provide consumers a healthy and convenient alternative to traditional fast food.

After over a year of research and planning the first Booster Juice opened in November of 1999 in Edmonton, Canada. Word spread quickly and soon customers were flocking to the store. The rest is history! Since then we've grown to become one of Canada's fastest growing and most exciting new foodservice concepts, with over 75 stores across the country.

So what makes Booster Juice so special?
It all starts with great products. Our signature items - Booster Juice 'smoothies'---are made from pure juice, incredible fruits, sorbets, homemade yogurt and a choice of health enhancing herbal additives. They're great for breakfast, lunch, dinner or a nutritious snack anytime through the day. As are our wide range of fresh juices, both hot and cold. And that's not all!

Our smoothies and juices are complimented by a limited food menu and our popular 'wheatgrass'----an organic powerhouse of amino acids, vitamins, minerals and chlorophyll. Booster Juice stores offer a unique combination of quality, healthfulness and convenience. A great combination for today's fast- paced, active and health conscious marketplace! And we deliver these great products to our customers in an attractive, energy packed store environment. Best of all, because of the simplicity of our operation we can operate in very small spaces---meaning limited overhead!

Our Franchise Program…
We started our franchising program in 2000 and it quickly became the focus of our growth strategy. Today over 80% of our stores are owned and operated by our franchise partners. At Booster Juice we believe that a properly trained and supported franchisee can bring an unparalleled level of skill and commitment to our stores. So, as we continue to expand across Canada, the United States and internationally, franchising will remain our core development strategy.

And we're committed to continuing to invest in our system to ensure that our system, procedures and franchisee support initiatives evolve and improve over time. Franchisees visit our Edmonton office for a comprehensive training program before opening their store. And, we provide full assistance both prior to and after store opening. Once they're open franchisees have access to our comprehensive franchisee 'intranet'---a secure website that allows our franchisees to access sales and sales trend information for both their store and the system as a whole , to access marketing materials, operational updates and to provide feedback or chat with other franchisees.
