PJ's Coffee was founded
25 years ago in New Orleans, one of the most recognized destinations in
the world for its food, drink, and entertainment - a haven for indulgence.
To succeed in such an atmosphere you've got to be better than good. We
didn't just succeed - we thrived.
To
make simply the best coffee, we own the bean selection process and we
own the roasting process. Without it, a coffee company loses control
of two of the three foundational stages of developing a premium cup
of coffee.
- PJ's uses a "medium
roast strategy" (vs. the "well done" strategy). This
means that we have confidence in our beans. It means that we KNOW our
beans are quality - no need to burn them.
- Small batch size
- controlled quality. Roasting the country's best beans is a delicate
process. We take it seriously.
- Quality beans,
unequaled richness. The best coffee comes from beans that are carefully
chosen, still green, properly handled to minimize damage. Sounds overprotective,
