Although your expenses may vary, depending on geographical considerations, an average total investment of $85,000 to $95,000 includes a cash outlay of $50,000. The franchise fee of your first store is $15,000 and is reduced with additional store openings. This fee is paid at the time you become a franchisee and is not included in the average store cost totals.

The royalty fee is 5% during each year of operation. In addition, all stores contribute 3% of sales to the Hungry Howie's advertising fund. An Advertising Council is responsible for the management of this advertising fund which is used for creative, media development and placement on a local, regional, and national level.
