1. The Concept: Traditional European-style hearth bread, rolls, croutons and an optional line-up of private labeled jams, coffees and other related items.
2. Founded: In 1993, Milwaukee, WI. Franchising began in 1993.
3. Approximate Total Investment: The total investment will vary from store to store depending on the size and location of the site.
It also will depend on how much of the build-out you will do yourself.
4. Financing: We do not offer direct or indirect financing. However, we do offer assistance with a prototype business plan for third party lending once a Franchise Agreement has been signed.
5. Store size: 2,000 square feet is ideal, but it will depend on each site.
6. Royalty fee: 7% of gross monthly receipts.
7. Training: We offer a comprehensive training program that includes the following: * Site selection and layout design assistance. * Four week total training incorporating our baking methods with day-to-day operations. * Proven system for mixing and preparing our recipes for the baking process. * Store organization and policies. * Marketing, promotion and advertising ideas and support. * Staffing requirements. * Bookkeeping procedures. Our training goal is to inform, encourage and inspire our team members to be good corporate citizens, great bakers and resourceful, profitable BREADSMITH® owners.
8. Communications: An informative compilation of helpful advice, strategy, shared ideas and news from owners, managers, and staff from throughout the BREADSMITH® system that will inspire and teach you to be the most efficient BREADSMITH® owner you can be.
